  1. Ari up. Ari Up (1962–2010), was born Ariane Daniela Forster in Munich, Germany, and was a vocalist and member of The Slits, a British punk rock band. She was only 14 years old she became The Slits' frontwoman in 1976, and was known as the most flamboyant and eccentric member of the group.
