After the release of Sholay, Amjad Khan shot to stardom. His portrayal of Gabbar Singh is considered the first depiction of pure evil in Indian Cinema. His Dialogues and mannerisms have become an integral part of Bollywood lexicon and spawned numerous spoofs and parodies.
