The Creole String Beans is a supergroup sextet celebrating the jukebox days of New Orleans rock n roll. The band mixes up a healthy dose of buried treasures from Fats Domino, John Fred, Frankie Ford, and other swampy pop and R&B sounds of the late ‘50s and early ‘60s with a full portion of peppy and sophisticated originals.
Since forming in 2003 the Creole String Beans have defined a new era in South Louisiana rock 'n roll by digging up the most obscure New Orleans and Louisiana Swamp Pop chestnuts, mixing in the most iconic of local glory-days hits, and delivering this hot musical gumbo with style and energy.
