Don DeFore. Donald John DeFore (August 25, 1913 – December 22, 1993) was an American actor. He is best known for his roles in the sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet from 1952 to 1957 and the sitcom Hazel from 1961 to 1965, the former of which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
Oct 4, 2011 · No Cathy Lewis bit the dust too. Died in 1968, as I remember it, of cancer. Same with Mr. Griffin he also died in 1968. The whole cast seemed to die quickly after the show ended. But Shirley Booth, Don DeFore, & Whitney did live a long time afterward. Ray Fulmer and Lynn Borden are still kicking. _____
Feb 17, 2015 · And I'm sure news like that would have gotten around "Hollywood". That's very odd to me. I'm sure the other Co-stars: Shirley Booth, "Hazel", and Don Defore, "George Baxter", knew. I would bet that it broke Shirley Booth's heart. She seemed to have enjoyed him so much on the show. As for DON Defore, I don't know how he reacted to Bobby's death.
