Mar 30, 2018 · Welcome to my latest Build Log, for Dynam's new Northrop P-61 Black Widow. By now, many of you are aware that Motion RC has decided not to sell the P-61. Once I received my kit (from Bitgohobby.com), I could see why.
Dynam P-61 Black Widow Green 1500mm twin-engined warbird has a green appearance with a red pattern that deserves the title of Black Widow. Two-tiered canopy design and all-transparent tail cone fully reflect the P-61 features.
I've seen plenty of FlightLines in action to know the retracts are fairly reliable and sturdy, and so far they've been 100% in the Invader. So I decided to start with a new set of P-38 retracts for the Widow. Just getting the Dynam retracts out of the nacelles is practically impossible.
