Sep 16, 2014 · Don't forget to generate an app password, this is the password you'll need instead of your hotmail password for Outlook 365. Make sure you remember the password (or copy it) and hit done after generating it. This is what worked for me. You can also try different IMAP settings, the imap-mail.outlook.com doesn't work.
