- Basic and Advanced Searches. Not all POF users can make use of this feature, but the investment can be worth it if you’re really in a jam. Basic Search.
- The “My Matches” Search. If you click on the POF logo on the top left of your screen, you can activate “my matches.” This will keep matching you with suitable profiles over time.
- Activate “My City” If you’re not having much luck finding someone on POF, you can activate the “my city” option in your location settings. It will narrow your search down a bit.

To find mobile users near you: Log in to the app; Tap on Mobile Users; These users are online and accessing the site via the iPhone or Android app; To search: If you have GPS enabled, we will use your current location. If not, we will use your zip or postal code. Your exact location will not be revealed to other POF users.
With the iPhone app, you can access many of the site’s features on your phone. You can upload an image, edit your profile, search for users, and read and reply to messages. You can also view your matches, your favorites and the users who have viewed your profile.
Plenty of Fish may send you push notifications when you receive a new message, when you are added as a favorite, or when someone wants to meet you. We may also notify you of local events. On your iPhone (not in the app) go to SETTINGS. Go to NOTIFICATIONS. In the list of apps, select Plenty of Fish.
