Admissions. Admission to Hunter College High School is exceptionally selective, only being open to seventh-grade students, with the admission process consisting of two steps.

If admitted students decline admission or withdraw from HCHS prior to the beginning of 7th grade, students from the wait list will be offered admission at HCHSs discretion.
