Jan Smithers is an American actress and is well known for playing Bailey Quarters (Shy Character) in WKRP in Cincinnati. She first appeared in 1973 in Love Story, playing the role of Barbara. Jan’s most recent work is in the film Mr. Nice Guy, released back in 1987. These days, she prefers to live her life more quietly outside Hollywood.
