Salta is the northern region of Argentina where Martel grew up – a Catholic, conservative area towards which Martel has conflicting feelings (2) .
La niña santa (2004) es una película de coproducción de Argentina, España e Italia. Fue invitada a participar en el Festival de Cannes y nominada a cuatro Cóndores de Plata, premio otorgado por la Asociación de Críticos Cinematográficos de Argentina.
