Our first view of the labyrinth is impressive. Indeed, all the special effects in the movie are impressive, showing the director, Muppets creator Jim Henson, working at the top of his form. Inside the labyrinth, Sarah faces a series of horrific challenges and meets a lot of strange characters.
Reviewing Labyrinth for The Philadelphia Inquirer, David Hiltbrand praised the show. Hiltbrand said "Labyrinth is a challenging viewing proposition, demanding close attention and patience". Hiltbrand also said "There are excellent siege and battle scenes (particularly by TV standards).

10/10. Fantastic, magical movie!! supertom-3 18 July 2003. This is a classic fantasy film from Jim Henson, in collaboration with George Lucas. There really is a magic about the film and that has helped it last as a firm family favourite all these years.
