    Su-ae Shim

Su-ae is the main character of the series. The story begins with her in a one-sided relationship with Minu, who neglects and berates her. Believing things will eventually work out between the two of them, Su-ae continues dating Minu no matter how much she is hurt by him. One day, Su-ae stumbles upon a Jellypop phone at school. Initially, Su-ae is freaked out by the phone's supernatural capabilities; she receives anonymous texts detailing situations happening to her in real time and finding the phone magically appearing someplace else when she throws it out. She soon discovers the phone's ability to count the number of love points a person has throughout their lifespan. Curious about her own love life, Su-ae tests it on herself, only to miserably realize that she has no love points. The origins of this love detecting system remains partly unknown, but Su-ae finds out more via a package arriving at her doorstep. Reading the instructions leads her to find a chip inside her phone. She inserts it into her computer, triggering a webpage that elaborates on the strange love point system. A shocking revelation is revealed to her once she does; she's the glitch in the system who has no love points, breaking the record of another who had the lowest. During all these Jellypop mysteries, an anonymous person had been texting Su-ae non-stop. At first, she believes the harasser to be Eunhyeok, who's been witnessing the current collapse of her dating life. However, she pieces together that it isn't him, and the anonymous texter continues messing with her. A malicious deal is struck when this person tasks her to get at least one point for the sake of the system, or else she will have to die. Desperate under this newfound deadline, she hatches a plan with Eunhyeok to make her current boyfriend jealous and gain love points to survive.

    Minu Kang

Minu is Su-ae's boyfriend at the beginning of the series, who does not treat her well. There are several moments where he emotionally abuses Su-ae, such as ignoring her, coldly dismissing her, hitting on other girls while she is around, refuses to make time for dates, and so on. However, the most blaring red flag he poses is cheating on Su-ae with her sister, Ra-im. Despite having conflicting feelings about hurting Su-ae, he eventually gives into Ra-im's advances and pursues his side relationship with her. Su-ae later tries to use him to gain love points as part of her plan.

    Ra-im Yun

Ra-im is Su-ae's adoptive sister and the two were close ever since childhood. Ra-im's parents left her, so Su-ae's family welcomed her with opened arms. At school, she is incredibly popular; she is known to be the prettiest girl on campus and several people admire her, including Su-ae. She is also very talented, but her deep insecurities and malicious motives are revealed; she is jealous of Su-ae. In her mind, she simultaneously loves her and hates her. Ra-im seems to have various reasons, but the most prominent one is during a flashback. She is seen to deeply envy how Su-ae is so loved and adored by her parents. In response to these festering emotions, Ra-im decides to take away everything Su-ae loves, including stealing her boyfriend even though she has no romantic feelings for him. Ra-im and Su-ae once grew up together like close-knitted siblings, but they become cold to each other after Ra-im secretive relationship with Minu is on full display to Su-ae. Her cheating plan is put into action shortly after, severing the divide between the two girls more.
