It must be they got hacked and they log your email or photobucket pw or something while logging into your acc on their website or idk.

    Photobucket is trying to get former users to upgrade their accounts with urgent and misleading messages. The emails are not only spammy and threatening, but also offer discounts that expire soon and don't include enhanced hosting.

I went and checked my records and it turns out they first sent me an email in 2022, then every other week since 2023, until it’s nearly a daily reminder (sometimes twice a day) that “URGENT ACTION” is “REQUIRED.” It reads so much like scam emails that even if I wanted to revive my account two years ago, I definitely don’t feel like doing it now.
