  4. This stunningly beautiful, fragrant Iris is a leader in its color class. Impeccable, large, heavily ruffled flowers are a saturated mulberry purple color with matching purple beards. Very sturdy, branched stems carry 7-9 buds apiece in early summer, late in the Tall Bearded Iris season.

  5. Swingtown Iris features showy violet flag-like flowers with deep purple overtones and a blue beard at the ends of the stems from late spring to early summer. The flowers are excellent for cutting. Its sword-like leaves remain green in color throughout the season.
