The University of British Columbia ( UBC) is a public research university with campuses near Vancouver and Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1908, it is the oldest university in British Columbia. With an annual research budget of $773 million, UBC funds over 10,000 projects a year. [4]
Degree credit minimum. In order to earn a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree, you must complete a minimum of 120 credits. A minimum of 50% of total degree credits, 50% of upper-level degree credits, and 50% of upper-level credits for each program (honours, major, or minor) must be completed while registered as a student in the Faculty of Arts at UBC.
