Jan 3, 2024 · No. Myanmar is not safe to visit right now. The instability in the country has gotten much worse since the military coup d’état in February 2021. Visitors are in danger of getting caught in an armed conflict, civil unrest, illegal detention, and other horrors.

However, you shouldn't relax as it definitely isn't without its dangers. Be cautious and apply all precaution measures that you would stick to in your own country.
