Jun 5, 2024 · In 2023, 40,940 new sounds were uploaded to Freesound (which corresponds to 1,134 hours of audio). Even though the number of new sounds is slightly lower compared to the previous year, the actual number of hours of audio has increased (70 more hours).
Mar 22, 2023 · The new “Manage sounds” page will allow sound uploaders to better keep track of the upload process of their sounds and manage sounds afterwards. You can now edit the description of multiple sounds at once, just like when you describe multiple uploaded files at once. You’ll find how to do it in the manage sounds page.
