MEET OUR FIRST SERVANT. From her earliest years, First Servant Regina Belle Battle was called to greatness by God. At the age of eight, she demonstrated her powerful vocal abilities, soloing Shirley Caesar’s “Don’t Drive Your Momma Away.”.
It was at Englewood's Mount Calvary Baptist Church, and then Paterson's Friendship Baptist Church (presided over by Belle's uncle, the Reverend Fred Belle), that Belle began attracting attention with her vocal abilities. She sang her first solo in church at the age of eight.
Belle is married to ex-NBA basketball player John Battle. She has four daughters and one son and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Regina's husband is senior pastor of a church. Belle admitted that there's that her touring commitments and her husband's church ministry could have caused difficulties.
Mar 7, 2019 · Regina Belle-Battle, who plays a lead role in Bread of Life’s music ministry, studied at the Manhattan School of Music. Minister Arnese Chambers said this weekend will be both “a joyous relaunch of the church” and “a formal community introduction” of the Battles to the Coweta community.
