Verity Ann Lambert OBE (27 November 1935 – 22 November 2007) was an English television and film producer. Lambert began working in television in the 1950s. She began her career as a producer at the BBC by becoming the founding producer of the science-fiction series Doctor Who from 1963 until 1965.
Verity Lambert (1935-2007) was a British TV producer and writer, best known for creating and producing Doctor Who (1963). She received an OBE in 2007 for her services to drama and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for A Cry in the Dark (1988).
