Jul 18, 2019 · I attended New York Comic Con once or twice, but being based in Los Angeles, I mostly just tagged along at local Southern California cons, including the monster of them all: San Diego. Stepping into the Comic Con world with Stan’s entourage, as they called it, was a shock to the system. Stan was constantly swarmed.
At the 2016 Comic-Con International, Lee introduced his digital graphic novel Stan Lee's God Woke, with text originally written as a poem he presented at Carnegie Hall in 1972.
