Feb 17, 2013 · The installation is called “CONNECTED: Silicon Valley + Bangalore” and is the work of Angela Buenning Filo, a Palo Alto photographer and teacher at Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto, who answered the airport’s open call for artists to submit work to be displayed in the new terminal.
Last year, artist Angela Buenning Filo engaged with the residents of Palo Alto by asking them to photograph a tree that was meaningful to them and then to submit that image along with a six-word story about the tree.
Angela Buenning holds a bachelor's degree in human biol-ogy from Stanford University and a master's degree in journalism from U.C. Berkeley. She teaches journalism at Eastside College Preparatory School in East Palo Alto, California.
