The Relic Hammerman is a very powerful defensive melee soldier. You need to upgrade your barracks to level 11, in order to train this units. He is stronger than Royal Sentinel, Veteran Halberdier, and Veteran Spearman, but weaker than Flame Bearer, and Veteran Flame Bearer in initial state. However it is the second most strongest melee defender when upgraded to higher levels. Unit consume more foods than regular defensive soldiers. The cost for recruitments are now reduced since June 2020 update.
In April 2022 update, all relic units were introduced a leveling system similar to sovereign units. The unit's recruitment cost and healing cost, along its recruitment time and healing time corresponds to the unit's current level. Therefore, the much higher the level of the unit, the higher the cost and the time needed to complete.
•March 14, 2019 - announced to be added as a new unit in the game. Implemented on March 21, 2019 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. CET.
•March 21, 2019 - Initial release.
•June 22, 2020 - the unit's recruitment cost was reduced from 1942 to 268 coins. Implemented between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. CEST.
