Jun 28, 2022 · The different denominations of Norwegian krone. Norwegian kroner have denominations from one single krone to a bank note worth 1,000 Norwegian kroner. There are a total of 4 different coins (1 NOK, 5 NOK, 10 NOK and 20 NOK) and 5 different bank notes (50 NOK, 100 NOK, 200 NOK, 500 NOK and 1,000 NOK) that are all used.
Norwegian banknotes are circulated, in addition to Norwegian coins, with a denomination of Norwegian kroner, as standard units of currency in Norway. From 1877, after the establishment of the Scandinavian Monetary Union , Norwegian banknotes of 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 10 and 5 kroner have been put into circulation.
It is nominally subdivided into 100 øre, although the last coins denominated in øre were withdrawn in 2012. The krone was the thirteenth-most-traded currency in the world by value in April 2010, down three positions from 2007. [1]

Nov 3, 2020 · Norway kept the Norwegian krone, Sweden the Swedish krona and Denmark the Danish krone. Coins originally came in physical denominations of 10 and 50 øre and 1 krone and 10-krone coins, but when the coins were introduced in full between 1875 and 1878, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50 øre and 1, 2 and 10-krone coins were introduced.
The new 1000-krone banknote was launched on 14 November 2019. This completed Series VIII banknotes. New 50-krone note. New 100-krone note. New 200-krone note. New 500-krone note.
