Tuition and fees are subject to change based on non-full-time enrollment. These costs reflect a standard academic year: fall, winter and spring terms. Review the 2-year live-on requirement for all incoming undergraduate students.
The University provides a tuition and fee installment Prepayment Plan, which offers the benefit of prepaying the educational costs for the academic year in monthly payments without incurring finance or interest charges.

Apr 16, 2024 · Northwestern University announced a 3.5% increase in undergraduate tuition for the 2024-2025 school year and an increase of more than 6.2% in undergraduate financial aid to $307 million. The total cost for undergraduates living on campus will be $89,448.
Last year, we spent over $200 million on financial aid support for undergraduate students. Tuition for the 2023–24 academic year is $64,887. Total expenses (including fees, books, room and board, transportation expenses and transportation) are estimated at $91,290.
