Beginning Tuesday, February 13 at 8:30 a.m., visit the Housing & Dining Portal. Once you have logged into the portal, select Manage Your Housing at the top of the portal homepage to begin. Follow the first steps to complete your housing contract, as well as make your initial payment.

Illinois State University enables required first time in college students who sign their contracts and submit their initial payment prior to and including June 1 the ability to self-select their housing online through the Housing and Dining Portal.
Housing Costs. Your costs consist of room ($250 initial payment) and meal plan charges in addition to a $50 nonrefundable application fee. Find more information on billing due dates and students accounts on the Student Accounts website. Learn more about other charges or additional fees.

2024-2025 Housing and Dining Contracts. Renew your contracts, select a different room/roommate, or change your meal plan in the online Housing & Dining Portal. Create a contract and roommate profile to connect with other students and choose a roommate. Enter Portal
To apply for housing in University Apartments on Fell St. or School St., do the following: Go to https://Housing.IllinoisState.edu/Contracts/ and click the [ Enter Portal ] link. Log in with your ULID and password.
