The Alaska Bar Association offers law school scholarships to current 1 st or 2 nd year law students who demonstrate ties to Alaska, and an intent to return to Alaska within two years of graduation. Applications for a scholarship must be sent to the Alaska Bar Association by March 1.
The Alaska Lawyer Referral Service is organized by types of law, such as real estate, adoption, etc. View a list of the types of law. Lawyers who signed up to be on the Lawyer Referral Service will charge no more than $125 for the first half-hour of consultation.
The Lawyers’ Bulletin Board was created as a service to Bar members where they can list and look for office space, office equipment, and other miscellaneous legal items to lease, buy, or sell. All listings will be automatically removed after two months.

Alaska administers the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). The UBE is a two day examination, consisting of a one-day written component and a one-day Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) component. The total time allotted to each component is six hours. The Written Component - MEE & MPT.
