Dennis Barton Dugan is an American film director, actor, comedian and screenwriter from Wheaton, Illinois who directed several films featuring Adam Sandler including Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Jack & Jill, Grown Ups, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and You Don't Mess With the Zohan. He also directed Beverly Hills Ninja and The Benchwarmers.

Biography. Born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois, Dennis Dugan began acting in high school and, after graduating from Chicago's Goodman Theater School in 1969, relocated to NYC where he appeared off-Broadway in productions of "A Man's Man" and "The House of Blue Leaves." Dennis has always been a storyteller. His work in films and television as an actor, director and writer parallels his 50 years as a mixed-media artist. Dennis first began as a photographer, then worked as a silkscreen printer and naturally moved to combine those crafts, eventually expanding - adding wood, metals and glass to the works.
