The actual tower is quite small. It's 1/6th the size of the original Eiffel Tower and the nearby radio tower that was twice the height of the "Eiffel" tower here lent a very anti-climactic feel to the whole affair. There's a map of Texas carved in stone beneath the tower with the town of Paris highlighted in the northeast corner.

Paris Eiffel Tower. A well-known landmark in the city of Paris is the replica of the Eiffel Tower in France. It was built in 1993 by members of the local welders’ union and stands at 65 feet in height, less than one tenth the height of the 1,063-foot original in France. A 3.5 foot shiny red cowboy hat was added to the top of the spindle in 1998.
