Pichu, inkling and ike. Use to be so fun seeing those 3 at the top, they didnt seem like top tier material (and i guess they werent in the long run) so it made it so much more exciting. The main issue is development. Smash Ultimate's development was notoriously hell due to bringing back every character mainly due to the programming. A pure port with the only real changes gameplay wise being balancing and minor tweaks that don't have major effects.
