Joby Talbot was born in London in 1971. He studied composition privately with Brian Elias and at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, before completing a Master of Music (Composition) at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Simon Bainbridge.
Joby Talbot (August 25, 1971, Wimbledon) is a British composer, arranger, piano and celesta player. Talbot studied composition with Simon Bainbridge and Robert Saxton at the Guildhall School of Music. His work has been performed by the BBC Philharmonic, Britten Sinfonia, the London Sinfonietta and the Brunel Ensemble.
