Jan 2017 • Couples. The Grote Markt is a typical traditional cobble-stone square (actually more like a triangle) in the middle of town. It has several beautifully restored characteristic buildings from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. The beautiful Waag-building is now a cafe-restaurant, with many authentic elements also inside.
