No it was one of the worst xmen movies. Right up there with X3. I thought the story was good but I felt they did a couple characters dirty, specifically Deadpool and sabertooth. My only real problem with sabertooth is he didn't look anything like in the comic which broke immersion for me but atleast he was played well.

When people ask about reading recommendations for the O5, I immediately point them to First Class. Fantastic modernization of the original 60s X-Men comics with great art and fun stories. I reread it a few years ago, and damn, still holds up no matter how old you are.
first X-men comic. I’ve been an avid follower of X-men for as long as I can remember, but I’ve only watched movies and tv shows, I’d skim various comic lore for hours on the internet.
