Select the option Use the following sound file then click on the Browse button and select your WAV sound file that you downloaded earlier. Click on the OK button to save the settings.

Feb 22, 2023 · For years, I've had a custom sound file selected to play when mail arrives. This has always worked fine. Yesterday I decided to have a change and chose a different file. However, TB doesn't play anything when mail arrives. I checked the settings, and all seems fine, see attached screenshot. If I click the Play button, nothing happens.

Aug 3, 2022 · You don't need to go to the registry to find the path - type shell:cache in the address bar of file explorer - that will open the inetcache folder. You should see content.outlook - under it is a subfolder that is currently used for cached files. You can delete the folder under Content.outlook. Outlook will create a new one.
