Cliff Durant (born 26 Nov 1890 Flint, Michigan; died 30 Oct 1937 Beverly Hills, California). Real name Russell. Son of William, the founder of General Motors and who also ran Chevrolet, Cliff supported his father's projects, but moved to California to marry Adelaide Frost, who was a singing star.

Eddie Rickenbacker raced for ten years before becoming a flying ace in World War I. He competed five times at Indy, earning his personal-best tenth-place finish in 1914.
