May 3, 2024 · Mehtab Bagh is a historic garden, built by Emperor Babur in the 16th century. The garden was designed as a charbagh, a Persian-style garden with four quadrants. The garden was used as a viewing point for the Taj Mahal, which is located across the Yamuna River.
Mehtab Bagh is realy good specially either in early morning and evening. Taj Selfie point is also near by [This is maintained by UP Government]. But parking to this place is not well mainitaned. even fater paying Rs 100 for car parking, you have to either walk for ~1km or shell out another 100Rs for local autos.
Mehtab Bagh is a typical Mughal styled garden with four garden layout. The garden is square shaped and measures 300 meters on each side. According to the inscriptions found on the site of the garden, there were many gardens aligned to this, but did not survive the passage of time.
Mar 30, 2019 · The flora at Mehtab Bagh is pretty much the same as that at I’timād-ud-Daulah, only much more. Spread over 22 acres, there are 20 plots packed with flowering shrubs and fruit trees.
