May 22, 2024 · Currently, there is no free public parking anywhere on Granville Island from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. A discounted parking rate of $1 an hour is offered from 9 to 11 a.m. "Unfortunately, that free parking was used by a lot of people who were not shopping on the Island. Many who parked and walked off," reads a reply from Granville Island to one commenter.

May 3, 2024 · Granville Island Public Market is a Dynamic Mix of many choices. The day we visited, there were 3 seperate live bands. We also enjoy a meal on a Patio, which everyone enjoyed. It is not Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco but quite respectable for a Small City Market.
