May 16, 2024 · There was the whole story of Peter being crucified upside down in Rome, which exists nowhere in actual history. Not bashing the RCC, but as a disciple of first century Christianity, and a long time student of Biblical and ancient history, it must be said.
Not all Christians will know of Saint Peter’s crucifixion, and only associate the inverted cross as something satanic or rebellious. Then, people who are satanists or even just into heavy metal or gothic life or something might also interpret that as you being associated with them.
