May 22, 2024 · May 22, 2024. USC Thornton Winds & Percussion graduate Leigh Wilson (GCRT ‘24) won the principal percussion position with the Spokane Symphony. He will begin his new appointment in the fall of 2024. Wilson began percussion at age 13, studying under John Tanzer of the Portland Symphony.

May 17, 2024 · Elizabeth “Duckie” Lydecker of Raleigh, NC passed away at home on May 17, 2024. She was 94. Duckie was born August 7th, 1929 in New York City. During her childhood, she grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, but graduated high school in Teaneck, NJ.
