Apr 11, 2022 · This 4K disc uses the film’s original 4K digital intermediate and creates a very good native 3840 x 2160p resolution image with the original aspect ratio of 2.39:1 faithfully preserved using a 10-bit video depth, both High Dynamic Range flavours (HDR10 and Dolby Vision) and encoded using the HEVC (H.265) codec.

We listened to the region-free UK Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Scream on a Denon AVR-X4300 and a full 7.2.4 speaker set up made up of KEF speakers (Q series and Ci in-walls/overheads). Scream is presented with a lossless 5.1 DTS-HD MA English soundtrack, based on the same soundtrack found on the film’s previous releases.
Aug 5, 2011 · There is no plot, but after the lunacy of Scream 3, this is a blessing. The film thunders along, hurling you from one frantic set-piece to another at ramming speed. We have no mid-movie crooning, as painfully witnessed in Scream 2, and it is a genuine pleasure to see some of these characters meeting their makers.
