  5. May 11, 2024 · Right now you're into their most accessible material, all clean vocals, heavy on the 60's/70's prog influences. The earlier material has a mixture of vocal styles growls/clean and it's much heavier leaning into death/black metal with elements of prog/folk. I think most fans would vote for Blackwater Park as their fave phase 1 Opeth album.
