Biography. Meyerinck was born in Potsdam, Brandenburg, the son of Friedrich von Meyerinck (1858–1928), Hauptmann (Captain) in the Prussian Army. He grew up at his family's estates in the Province of Posen and attended the gymnasium secondary school in Godeberg.
Actor. He was born in Postdam, Germany. He appeared in over 300 films in a career that spanned 50 years, from his debut in 1920 to his death. For american audiences, he is fondly remembered in the hilarious role Count von Droste Schattenburg in Billy Wilder's film One, Two, Three (1961).
