In 2007, Senator Barrasso was sworn in as United States Senator from Wyoming. He was elected in 2008, 2012, and 2018, each time with more than 67 percent of the vote. Senator Barrasso is the third-ranking member in the Senate Republican leadership as Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference.
