The historic center or Centro Storico of the city of Parma in northern Italy is a lovely area with narrow medieval streets, squares and buildings from the Renaissance and Baroque periods; it is the home of the city’s cathedral and the neighboring Baptistery, and much of it is pedestrianized, making it a great place to stroll around.
6 days ago · Parma's Baptistery is a beautiful pink marble octagonal structure used for baptisms. The building is ornate with arches, columns, friezes and bas-reliefs that tell the story of Jesus and Mary as well as John the Baptist and other religious scenes. It is one of Italy's best examples of the Gothic transition from Romanesque to Renaissance style.

Ferrara - I like the city center, and there’s an interesting castle in the center of town to tour. Also, the museum of the Spina artifacts is worth enjoying.
