May 7, 2024 · 13. Squamish Spit and Estuary. While in Squamish, make sure to drive out to the Squamish Spit, located at the tip of the Howe Sound near the Squamish Estuary. This long man-made walkway jets out into the water and makes for a nice place to take a stroll and stretch your legs on the road between Vancouver and Whistler.
