Curt Gowdy State Park Campground offers 159 campsites in 12 camping areas which are located around Granite Reservoir. Equestrian and group camping are also available. There are 90 reservable campsites and 69 first-come, first-serve. Several bike-in campsites are also available.

From the Wyoming State Parks, Curt Gowdy State Park website: "There are a total of 169 campsites; 90 reservation only sites and 69 first-come, first-serve campsites. Many of the first-come, first-serve sites are suitable for tents. All sites are first-come, first-serve from September 30 to May 1st.
Camp Russell Campground is part of Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming (33 min west of Cheyenne, WY) with an elevation of 7,277 feet. There are a total of 10 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 50 and 55 feet. All sites are currently reservable.

Curt Gowdy State Park is a public recreation area covering 3,395 acres (5.3 sq mi; 13.7 km 2) in Albany and Laramie counties in Wyoming, United States. It is located on Wyoming Highway 210 (Happy Jack Road), halfway between Cheyenne and Laramie, about 24 miles (40 km) from each.
Booking Opens: Wyoming residents may begin booking campsites up to 120 days prior to arrival. Non-residents may begin booking up to 113 days prior to arrival. Reservation Fees: Residents = $4 Non-Residents = $8. Fee Payment: Fees for day use and camping are charged per vehicle.
