Jack Tempchin is an American musician and singer-songwriter who wrote the Eagles song "Peaceful Easy Feeling" [1] and co-wrote "Already Gone", [2] "The Girl from Yesterday", [3] "Somebody" [4] and "It's Your World Now".
Like his friend and colleague Frey, Jack Tempchin was a Midwestern transplant to Southern California, but he came to San Diego much earlier than Frey. Tempchin moved to San Diego when he was just nine months old, so he knew nothing but the laid-back world of SoCal.
