Aug 29, 2002 · As a young graduate of the Katselis drama school in 1961, he collaborated with master director Koun in the Theatro Technis’s celebrated version of Aristophanes’ «Birds.» As for the current production, Voglis was deeply moved by the way Sophocles presents this poverty-stricken man before his death.
After studying drama at the Pelos Katselis Drama School, Elena got her first screen part in the 1963 movie Kati na kaiei (Something burning), directed by Yiannis Dalianides. Born in Piraeus in 1953, Panagiotis Mentis studied theatre in Pelos Katselis’ Drama School, and has been a theatre actor since 1976. He has collaborated with important theatre companies and leading figures of the Greek theatre.
