Elizabeth Washington Lewis (June 20, 1733 – March 31, 1797) was an American Colonist. She was the younger sister of George Washington and the only sister that survived childhood. Her half-sister, Jane, died at age 11 and her sister Mildred in infancy.

Betty Lewis was a capable plantation manager, mother, and helpmeet who raised eleven children and, together with Fielding, made their home in Fredericksburg, known today as Kenmore, a center of local hospitality.
May 4, 2002 · Since 1781 he had been married to GW’s niece, Betty Lewis (1765–1830). The Carters lived in Culpeper County for a time after their marriage but then moved to Frederick County and later to Pittsylvania County.
