When the aliens Xilians invade Earth, they release monsters to destroy the big cities. The Earth Defense Force formed by mutants is incapable to defeat the creatures. Commander Douglas Gordon decides to unleash Godzilla that has been trapped for many years to fight against the monsters.
Greatly outmatched, Earth officials decide to de-freeze Godzilla as man's only hope to vanish the invaders, as well as the monsters they control. Only trouble is Godzilla is still mad at man...
Earth has been relatively peaceful since Godzilla was successfully buried deep in ice beneath the South Pole. Then - sometime a few years hence-several of his old nemeses return to wreak havoc on cities worldwide. A huge spaceship suddenly appears and neutralizes all the monsters in a blink.
Godzilla: Final Wars. Giant monsters, including Rodan, Gigan and Mothra, are wreaking havoc around the world. Suddenly, a UFO appears and causes the monsters to vanish. Aboard the spaceship are Xilians, extraterrestrials who wants to help the human race defend itself from Gorath, a rogue planet on a collision course with Earth.
If humanity wishes to survive, they must reluctantly resurrect their most hated enemy, Godzilla. Humanity finally rids themselves of Godzilla, imprisoning him in an icy tomb in the South Pole. All is peaceful until various monsters emerge to lay waste to Earth's cities.
