Antonia Vidor "Toni" Merz, '49 (psychology), of Kapaa, Hawaii, September 17, at 84. She was the eldest daughter of renowned film director King Vidor and silent screen star Eleanor Boardman, and she grew up in the heyday of Hollywood, surrounded by many celebrities. She taught yoga and sang in the choir with the Santa Monica Opera Company.
About Antonia. Born in 1927, Antonia Vidor grew up amidst the glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Era. After college, she became a healer and riding instructor. In 1974 she met the American-born spiritual master, Adi Da Samraj, and has since lived as his devotee. ‘Toni’ retired in Hawaii until her passing in September of 2012.
